Giving Back
One Home at a Time.

Some repairs are more than maintenance — they are a matter of safety, dignity, and quality of life. If you know a family or individual who needs help, we want to hear about it.

Why We Do This

We have been in homes across DFW since 2019, and we have seen firsthand what a deferred repair can mean for a family — a door that won’t lock, a leak that spreads, steps that are no longer safe to climb. Not every family can afford to fix everything that needs fixing. We can’t fix everything either, but we can do more than nothing. This program is our commitment to try.

Every request submitted through this page is reviewed personally by our team. We evaluate each situation on its own merits and determine what level of support we can provide. No request goes unread.

How It Works

You submit the cause. We review it, reach out, and determine together what we can do.

1

Submit the Cause

Fill out the form below with the beneficiary’s details, photos, and the repairs needed.

2

We Review It

Our team reads every submission and evaluates the situation, urgency, and what support we can offer.

3

We Reach Out

We contact you and the beneficiary to discuss the situation and confirm what we can do and when.

4

We Get It Done

Our crew shows up, completes the agreed work, and leaves the home better than we found it.

Select the Level of Support

Choose the option that best fits the situation. All levels are considered — but please read the guidance below before selecting.

Tier 1

Reduced Rate

The sponsor will pay for the services in full, and requests ServiceBeaver to provide them at a reduced price. The beneficiary receives professional service at a cost that is more accessible.

▲ Fastest response • Highest likelihood of award • Scheduling within days to weeks

Tier 2

Partial Assistance

The sponsor will cover part of the cost and requests ServiceBeaver to absorb the remaining balance. Both parties contribute to making the repair happen.

▶ Moderate wait time • Good likelihood of award • May involve Nora Deutsch Foundation

Tier 3

Full Assistance

The sponsor requests that ServiceBeaver cover the full cost of labor and materials. No payment is expected from the sponsor or beneficiary.

▼ Longer wait time • Lower likelihood of award • Requires Foundation coordination

Please note: The more assistance requested, the longer the review process and the lower the likelihood of award — our capacity to absorb costs is limited. Requests for Reduced Rate or Partial Assistance are reviewed faster and fulfilled more frequently. Full Assistance requests require coordination with the Nora Deutsch Foundation and our own scheduling capacity, and may take significantly longer. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to be as flexible as the situation allows.

In Partnership with the Nora Deutsch Foundation

The Nora Deutsch Foundation is a proud partner of ServiceBeaver’s Giving Back program. Their mission aligns with ours: to support individuals and families in need with meaningful, practical help. Their involvement makes it possible for us to take on cases that would otherwise exceed our capacity to assist alone.

Not all cases will involve the Foundation — many are handled directly by ServiceBeaver. But for those that require deeper support, the Foundation extends what we can do.

Common Questions

Who can submit a Giving Back request?

Anyone can submit on behalf of a family or individual in need — a neighbor, friend, family member, community organization, or the person themselves. We ask for the submitter’s own contact information along with the beneficiary’s details, a description of the situation, and photos of the repairs needed.

What types of repairs does the program cover?

We consider any repair that meaningfully improves quality of life — safety repairs, accessibility improvements, structural fixes, drywall, doors, windows, plumbing and electrical within our license scope, and more. We evaluate each case on its merits and determine what we can do based on the situation and our capacity at the time.

How does ServiceBeaver decide who receives assistance?

Every submission is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We consider the urgency and impact of the repair, the level of assistance requested, and our current availability. Requests for Reduced Rate or Partial Assistance are typically fulfilled faster. Full Assistance requests require additional coordination with the Nora Deutsch Foundation and our scheduling capacity.

What is the Nora Deutsch Foundation’s role?

The Nora Deutsch Foundation is a partner organization that helps extend our capacity to assist families who require partial or full financial assistance. Not all cases will involve the Foundation — some are handled directly by ServiceBeaver at reduced or no cost.

How long does it take to hear back?

We review every submission and respond to all of them. Reduced Rate requests typically receive the fastest response — often within a few business days. Partial and Full Assistance requests may take longer due to the coordination required. We will always let you know where things stand, even if the answer is that we are unable to help at this time.
