Light Plumbing Maintenance Services
Many common plumbing annoyances don't require a licensed plumber — they require someone who knows what they're doing, has the right tools, and will do the job properly without creating a bigger problem in the process. Our light plumbing tasks are performed by experienced handymen within a defined, appropriate scope.
Washer & Dryer Connections
New laundry appliance? We connect your washer to the water supply and drain hookups, and connect your dryer to the gas or electric supply (gas connections to existing shutoff valves only). Proper connections, secured hoses, and verified operation before we leave.
Toilet Maintenance
Running toilets, loose tanks, rocking bases, and gaps at the floor are common issues that don't require replacing the whole toilet. We address: toilet adjustments (fill valve, flapper, float), caulking the base seal, and select internal part replacements — keeping your toilet working properly without unnecessary expense.
Faucet Maintenance
Dripping, reduced-flow, or hard-to-operate faucets are often fixable without replacement. We handle: faucet adjustments, aerator cleaning and replacement, and select internal parts replacements — restoring proper flow and operation. A clean aerator alone can significantly improve water pressure in older fixtures.
Sink Drain Unclogging
Slow or completely blocked bathroom and kitchen sink drains cleared using manual methods up to 3 feet from the drain opening. We also address drain pipe adjustments at accessible connections under the sink — p-traps, drain stoppers, and visible connections that may be contributing to the issue.
Garbage Disposal Replacement
Garbage disposals have a finite lifespan — when they stop working, they typically need replacement rather than repair. We remove the old unit, install the new disposal (supplied by you or sourced by us), connect it to existing drain lines, and verify operation before completing the job.
What We Don't Do
We don't perform drain clearing beyond 3 feet from the drain opening, main line work, pipe replacement, or any task requiring a licensed plumber. If your issue is beyond our scope, we'll tell you clearly — and we can point you toward a qualified plumber. Honesty about scope is part of how we operate.
